Can the symbol chart be converted to a number chart?

The basic question is: why?

When I try to print out the symbol chart, I get nothing but blank spaces.  I am assuming that my printer does not recognizes the symbols whereas it would recognize and print out numbers if they were used instead.

The font with the symbols is included in the PDF file as an embedded font. When printing the chart, be sure to use the embedded font, rather than the default fonts assigned by your PDF reader or operating system. The embedded font is a generic true type font that should be able to print on all printers.

If your problem persists, knowing your printer model and type of computer software or phone to print the chart will help to troubleshoot the issue.
